The Router Control add-in for Windows Home Server enables the user to get more control over his/her UPnP internet gateway (e.g. see and modify dynamic port forwarding).

  • NEW: Port forwarding can now be monitored and edited (default: on)
  • NEW: Hijacking Detection for router
  • Traffic Stats are now gathered by default
  • Online status changes of router are now tracked (no UI, yet)
  • Diagnostic Tool is now wizard style and no separate EXE anymore
  • .NET 3.5 required
  • Traffic history + background monitoring
  • Semi-automatic online update + notification of new versions
  • Complete rewrite of client/WHS Add-in GUI
  • Automatic error reporting
  • Based on Windows Service
  • Fixed Windows Home Server console hanging (rarely) on uninstalling (conflict with update check); The Windows Home Server Console has to be killed manually on uninstall

  • Added Schema DB link to Router Control Settings tab
  • Fixed service implementation path on some Home Servers

  • device DOM max-spec (base for service implementations) is now retrieved by web service during build (which enables user without database access to build RouterControl.IO.Services)
  • Diagnostic Tool now checks for updates on Router Control
  • CommonInternetGateway did not handle missing services correctly
  • Diagnostic Tool now contains version number in title bar

    I’ve tried it with my router. It actually does not work with it. Please check to see. it is D-link DVG-5402SP.
