Very effective tool for monitoring your server power. I performed a power fail test (flipped the breaker) and watched as Grid Junction flawlessly issued the notifications (via Remote Notification) and then triggered a managed shutdown at the correct time.

I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere (unless I am visually impaired!) but I am assuming GridJunction needs a USB connection to the WHS? A friend has a UPS that he no longer needs but I don't think it has a USB connection - will it work?

it's an APC Model BE350G.

Thanks!

Yes you can get Grid Junction to automaticly shutdown client computers of your WHS, to find out more visit the Grid Junction forums where the developer is always willing to help and there is a lot of people helping as well. Homeserverland.com where you can find the forums and the extra scripts.

Can this do automatic shutdown of WHS Client computers? Is that one potential use of the scripting capability?
