Firefly is a media server application which allows you to stream music to digital media receivers like the Roku Soundbridge and to iTunes. Before installing it you will need to have already downloaded and installed:

Apple’s Bonjour Service
Firefly Media Server

    I’m not sure why you would need this add on to stream to the Roku. I have been streaming to the Roku without any plug in since I first started testing the WHS.

    New to WHS – very impresssed so far! Can you explain though do I need to install Bonjour and Firefly to WHS – if so how? Or do they get installed to one of the client machines?

    How I could to get russian letters in iTunes taking stream from WHS Acer installed Firefly server ?
